The idea:

EMC (now part of Dell) was a global enterprise delivering industry-leading technology and services designed to help customers modernize their IT infrastructure. Data lake, an innovative approach to data storage at the time, offered workable solutions for common IT challenges. This campaign educates audiences on what a data lake is, the value of having one, and why EMC is the right partner to help create one.

Creative avoids technical jargon and breaks through the clutter by positioning Data Lake as a real place. Key messaging and value propositions are conveyed through the lens of a nostalgic 1950s travel campaign.
