The idea:
After conducting countless brand workshops for every size and type of client, from three-person HR startups to global IT enterprises, I saw a real need to help small businesses take the crucial first step in defining their brand. So I decided to write a book about it, and the result is You Got a Permit for the Brand You’re Trying to Build? How to Plan and Conduct a Workshop to Define Your Brand and Put Your Business on the Right Track.
My book takes readers beyond vague theory, pretty logos, and snappy taglines. It shows, through straightforward exercises that yield eye-opening insights, exactly how to define and articulate an entire brand platform upon which solid marketing and advertising can be built. I delve deep into the Why and the How of getting it done with a good dose of humor and lots of real-life examples.
