Create new menus for a regional restaurant chain that
Establish a brand voice, inject personality, and
Enhance the dining experience.
The idea:
With nearly 20 locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Pasta Pomodoro enjoyed a solid reputation as a reliable place to get good Italian food without any fuss. However, the chef/owner felt the brand didn’t reflect enough of the fun, casual, dig-in-and-enjoy-it attitude he wanted patrons to feel. With a limited budget, we focused on the menus as a major touchpoint in bringing some levity and personality to the experience.
Creative tipped a playful hat to the simple Italian attitude towards good food – overeating encouraged and overthinking prohibited.
